1) About Pre-Orders & Estimated Arrival Dates

At Nerdbutiken.se, all stated arrival dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to production, logistics, customs or other circumstances beyond our control.

We are not always able to notify customers about delays, but you are always welcome to email us and ask about the status of your order.

2) Payment (100% Upfront or 20% Deposit)

Pre-orders require advance payment:

• Option A: 100% payment at the time of ordering.
• Option B: 20% deposit at the time of ordering and the remaining 80% when the item arrives.

The deposit of 20% is included in the regular price and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

3) Partial Payment & Email Notification

When the item arrives, Nerdbutiken will send an email with confirmation and a payment request for the remaining 80%, unless you selected 100% payment at the time of ordering. As soon as the payment has been approved, the item will be shipped.

4) Shipping & Partial Deliveries

If you combine in-stock items with pre-order items, or several pre-order items with different estimated arrival dates, the order may be shipped in separate deliveries.

Additional shipping costs may apply for each separate shipment.

To avoid extra shipping costs, please place separate orders for different product types at Nerdbutiken.

5) Cancellation/Withdrawal Before Delivery

The 20% deposit is non-refundable if you cancel or withdraw from the purchase before the item has been shipped.

If you have paid 100% to Nerdbutiken and cancel before delivery, 80% will be refunded and 20% will be retained as the deposit.

To cancel, reply to your order confirmation or contact our customer service and include your order number.

6) Failure to Pay the Remaining Balance

If the remaining 80% is not paid within the specified time after our notification, Nerdbutiken may cancel the order. The deposit of 20% will be retained to cover costs. Any amount paid in excess of this will be refunded.

7) Multiple Pre-Order Items in the Same Order

If you have several pre-order items in the same order, Nerdbutiken will request payment for each product as each individual product arrives — not when all products have arrived. This may result in multiple payment requests and separate shipping charges.

8) Cancellation/Discontinued Product by Supplier

If a pre-order product is discontinued or cancelled by the supplier/manufacturer, or if we are unable to deliver the product, the order will be cancelled and the full amount paid will be refunded, including the deposit.

9) Returns After Receipt (Right of Withdrawal)

This policy mainly concerns cancellation before delivery. After you have received the item, applicable consumer legislation applies, such as the right of withdrawal under distance selling rules, with exceptions for items such as special orders. Is the delivery date guaranteed?

No. Dates are estimates from the supplier/manufacturer. Delays may occur for reasons beyond Nerdbutiken’s control.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

Yes, but the 20% deposit is non-refundable. It will only be refunded if the item cannot be shipped, not in the event of delays. If you have paid 100%, 80% will be refunded if you cancel before delivery.

How does payment work when the item arrives?

Nerdbutiken will email you a payment request for the remaining 80%. Payment must be made within the deadline stated in the email.

Why may additional shipping costs apply?

If you combine different product types or products with different estimated arrival dates, the order may be split into several separate shipments.

What happens if a product is cancelled by the supplier?

If the product is cancelled, we will cancel your order and refund the full amount paid, including the deposit.
