The U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656-J is a 32nd-century descendant of Captain Janeway's famous starship.
It followed a similar design but featured segmented hulls and warp nacelles and used programmable matter. It also served as a testbed for the Pathway drive system, which operated without dilithium.
The ship was designed by Ryan Dening. The producers wanted it to be an homage to Janeway's ship and showcase the connections between different eras of Star Trek.
The model is part of Master Replicas' new series of 4- to 5-inch die-cast models and comes with a 48-page book featuring an all-new, in-depth interview with Discovery showrunner Michelle Paradise.
