The most successful and decorated Japanese luchador of all time! Ultimo Dragon has won championships in Mexico since 1988, competing in every major promotion in Mexico and Japan as well as the US. He is perhaps best known globally for holding 10 belts at once. He is also the originator of the Asai Moonsault, a move he perfected and which has become a staple of every high-flying wrestler's offense, and one of the few high-flying moves that even more grounded wrestlers often attempt.

Ultimo Dragon's legacy extends far beyond a generation of wrestlers in Mexico and the US striving to match his historic achievements, as the establishment of the Ultimo Dragon Gym in Japan in 1997 created an entire generation of lucha-influenced Japanese professional wrestlers and the lucha-inspired Toryumon promotion which later became Dragon Gate, still the leading player in lucha-puroresu hybrid action.
